Child-like….

In truth, I envy you, kid.
What I wouldn’t do to have that kind of innocence
to be amazed so easily by something new
to be interested in almost anything
to have so much energy and motivation in doing your work
to hold your idealism so proudly
to bravely defend what you think was right, and make people believe it too
to have no fear of being wrong
to have no shame of your past mistake, because you know that’s what makes you who you are today

I wish I could be just like you
I can try, but I doubt I would succeed…
But I will still try to change for the better
